New pump action

Picked up my Taurus 62 the other day and took it to the range. Great little rifle ! Nice finish, it's fit is a little sloppy, but being a Taurus I kinda expected that. Overall I'm really happy, I need TFL members experience and consumer advice to help me with a few things.

One, I need a case, any cheap softy that will fit a small carbine (think Red Ryder size). I can't find any small rifle cases locally and it would cost a bundle to order one through the dealer. Know where to get an appropriate sized one online ?

Two, it desperately needs new sights Any aftermarket for the Taurus 62 ?

Three, where can I shoot this thing outdoors in CA ??? Its no fun at the range :(. I need to blow up practical things like beer bottles and various fruits out in the wild, preferably on a fishing trip.

Angeles Forest ? Uh, probably not...

i can answer your third one sort of, move to new mexico, plenty of open outdoor space to go shooting.
wouldnt know about outdoors shooting area's in kali though.

for a case you might want to check wal-mart they have cheap plastic cases with foam padding, might find one thats small enough to fit it well.

tryed brownells web-site to look for after market sites?

just some thoughts.
