New Production Pump or Semi?

Hello all, I am in the market for a new pump or semi and was trying to figure out who made a decent field version stocked in walnut at this time.

I would like to purchase three over the next year; a 12, 28, and 410. What do you all think?

Thanks

Price range, havent really thought about that. Pumps and semi's arent in the same class as O/U's or SxS's.

I dont think that price is going to be a big part of the decision.

I am getting my new Browning Maxus next Saturday I wll let you know what I think. Right now I would say Remington 870 Express Mag or (super Mag) if your looking at a pump.

Good semis like Benelli and Beretta runs upwards of $1500, while pumps are about half. The Browning pumps are well-made, although the small gauges tend to be a bit heavy

kozak6's question about your price range was appropriate. So, I'll ask two more: what are you going to use this pump or auto for, and how much experience do you have?

I like the Browning BPS pump guns / 28" barrels - the Hunter models are retailing new for about $ 525 ....and even if my buddy oneounce thinks they're a little heavy ...I think they're solid guns ( they are a little heavy / but I like them a little heavy ....).

There are lots of semi-autos around $1,000 - Browning makes a silver hunter series, Win has some, etc .....Beretta 391's etc ....all decent guns...

If you haven't found anything yet, make sure you check out the Ithaca Model 37 pump. I've used them for years and years and they're all steel receivers, bottom ejection designed by John Browning and later refined by Ithaca, traditional and I use them for hunting and sporting clays. I equip them out with the Comp-N-Choke chokes from Sylvania, Ga (888-875-7906). Your grandchildren will be using them and thinking fondly of you years from now.
