One of the posters here got my wheels turning about the possibility of someone grabbing the cylinder of a revolver to keep it from firing. Now I know, it's not an easy stunt to pull off, but what if...
Well, after sharing a bottle of nice red wine with the Missus and the pooches, we got to gnashing on the subject. We came up with the idea of a very thin plastic sleeve, slightly oiled, that slides over the cylinder, just covering the frontal part and not interfering with the mechanism. The idea being that the cylinder slides within the lubed plastic sleeve, so that even if grabbed, they got no traction, no grip, no stoppage.
Spoke with a buddy who plays with plastic films this AM, and he is going to bake up a batch for us to mess with later this week. Dunno if anyone has had this wacky idea before,... but I figure it's worth a try....
