Wanted a shooter SAA in 45. Looked for a 4.75" model but got a pretty good deal on this one. It'll do. Started in 1971 as a commemorative model (Missouri 150th), someone turned it into a shooter and removed the gold embellishments. I got it at a good price and when it arrived it turned out to have virtually no visible wear. I assume that someone had been shooting it, maybe even doing SASS with it but the only sign of wear is a tiny shiny spot on one side of the muzzle. Actually have to look for it to see it. Cylinder doesn't even show a turn line. I think it had a trigger job done. Feels much better than any SAA I've tried.
