I'll direct this mainly to
Relascout but to every one who is not in the NRA or any other orginzation that helps gun owners. All you that have posted negatively about the NRA, please, please answer this question in an intellegent manor. Relascout, please answer!!!!!
Who is going to help you keep your guns when the antis have a major control of politcs, local, state and federal.
Whithout numbers, we have no hope of not losing the 2nd amendment rights. I've been a life member for over forty years and I sincerely believe that without this orginization
we would be unarmed.

The NRA didn't protect us from the NFA or the GCA of 68. The NRA didn't protect my right to own automatic weapons, firearms that are "invisible" to metal detectors, unimpeded right to carry concealed whenever and wherever I feel the need or simply the desire, or any of a number of other aspects of the right to keep and bear arms.

If I can't count on them to preserve all of my rights I can't logically expect them to be able to protect any of my rights. And if in the battle to preserve some of my rights they sacrifice others, I feel that they have sacrificed something that was not theirs to sacrifice. I did not authorize them to trade away those rights in the attempt to preserve others.

Perhaps I can trust no one to protect my rights. The NRA has proven by their actions that they do not protect my rights.

The NRA has protected many of your 2nd Amendment rights, i.e. the ones you have today. But I don't expect you to be able to understand that.
