New Mags Springs From Glock For FREE

Well I bought a standard mag a while ago for about $60. But it seemed old and the spring didn't seem to firm. So I saw on a few websites rebuild kits $20 dollars for 2 mags. I almost ordered them but then I decided to call Glock. The phone call took about 5 minutes and now I have a spring with a follower in the mail with my address on it ALL FOR FREE. Needless to say I was impressed with this customer service and now I am even a happier Glock owner. Ok guys now a question the mag is an older one there is no button on the bottom to slide the base plate off. I happen to have a spare Glock base plate off of a G26 mag, can I change it and is there any benefit to changing it.

Thanks
James

Yes, you can change the base plate. The new benefit will be that it will then take three hands to get the base plate off again.

I just got three mags back from Glock.
They are G19 NDF mags from Ivanhoe Outlet.

Someone posted here or on GlockTalk that Glock would upgrade them for free, (springs, followers, and baseplates).
I called Glock, and they said "Send them in. It's warranty."
I did, got them back in 2 weeks.
All parts replaced, except the mag tube. :(
No charge.

I too am a very happy Glockster.
:D
