New M95/34 collector question

Just received my first m95/34. Budapest M95 stamped on top of receiver with a big S stamped (chambered by the Germans) on the barrel. It is a cut down barrel with the front site clamped on the barrel. Apparently it was accepted into the Austrian army as it the w-n [eagle] 16 under the S. On the right side of the receiver it looks like the St Stephan proof mark with another mark close to it. I'm not sure what the other mark is. Is it the German HV? Here's a pictureStStephanCrest.jpg

There is also another stamp which is beside the big S. I looked at all the web sites I can find and did not find a reference to this mark. To me it looks like the iron cross? Any ideas?WN_IronCross.jpg

Thanks in advance for any feedback!
