New m44

Hey guys...I usually don't get so excited, but yesterday I was at my favorite LGS, and they had a pristine 1946 Russian m44 (all matching numbers, bright bore). I wasn't looking for another one, but when he told me it was 100 bucks OTD with a free box of ammo, I couldn't refuse..>Didn't even try to talk him down..

So not really a discussion, but had to share with someone that might appreciate it...
 
Nice You really made out there. An excellent carbine at a great price, I can understand why you're so happy.

Great score!!! Generally they are going for twice that amount these days. I think it was back in November I managed to pick up a matching number non-counter bored M38 for $110. I guess the local dealer got them in when they were cheap and never kept up on what the prices were doing over the years and that's going up and up.
Of course you do know that your thread is worthless without pictures, right?:D Here's mine.
