Just put the first 100 rds. thru it. Not a glitch so far. Very accurate and nice trigger. Walnut grips add a really nice feel. I may have to try the skateboard tape trick on the front strap, but right now I am just going to leave it alone and shoot it. I think it is Kimbers best value on a full size 1911. I will need to find a holster for it now. If anyone knows of a good multi-purpose type of holster (IWB and outside) I would appreciate some info.

Congrats on you new Kimber. Glad to hear that you're happy about your new acquisition. I own the Target version and also have had ZERO problems with it. You get what you pay for. As far as holsters go, try Don Hume for a good leather holster at a very good price. Their IWB holster works very well. Good luck to you and your new Kimber.

Congrat, it sure it a good looking and great performing piece.
Later on maybe you can give feedback about who the grip behaves after a long session of shooting(300 rounds or so).
