New kid on the block....with a holster queston

I would like to carry my S&W 59 more, but my job is such that I will be putting on and taking off a holster a lot.

Do any of you have a suggestion for a high ride paddle holster with a thumb strap?

Lou Alessi makes a very fine detachable holster, I don't remember the model number/name however.

Lou Alessi is your man! He makes some of the finest holsters available. He is cheaper and better than Mitch Rosen.

The model your looking for is called the CQC/S, and it is awesome! I find it conceals as good if not better than an IWB and its so comfortable you will forget that you have it on. It's also very easy to take on an off, it has offset unidirectional snaps.

Lou hangs out at www.gunspot.com under the holster section of the discussion board. You can order his products directly from him or use the distributor (RF) in the previous post.

Thank you JKnight, I knew the model name of the hoslter but had a brain fart. Most of my holsters have come from Lou's shop with a couple from Milt Sparks.

Lou is a true gentleman in every sense of the word. His workmanship is excellent and I recommend his goods highly. You can spend more money for leather gear but will not gain anything in regards to workmanship, quality of leather, design or service.

Thanks for the good information. I'll be ordering soon and you have made the selection process so much easier.
