This is the article about the murder of a fellow American that died because the New Jersey system failed her. I don't know what else to say.

From the article "Carol Bowne is dead – murdered in cold blood on her own property by a violent criminal who would not be restrained by good intentions. But there is no smoking gun, because she lived and died in New Jersey."

"On April 21 of this year, she began the glacial process of obtaining a New Jersey permit to purchase a gun"

"She never heard back. She never will. Per the Courier-Post, Bowne 'was stabbed to death in the driveway of her Patton Avenue home on Wednesday night.'

Here are other articles about it. The bureaucracy must stop.

This is indeed a tragedy, brought about by the citizens of NJ, who elected representatives which then started dismantling the citizens rights.
The solution to this problem (yes, IT IS A PROBLEM) is to NOT ELECT SCUMBAG POLITICIANS WHO SEEK TO DESTROY YOUR RIGHTS & CONTROL YOUR LIVES.

It's a shame that Ms. Bowne's family cannot seek some kind of justice for their loved one, slain because her state government denied her life, liberty & pursuit of happiness.

New Jersey's gun laws are unconstitutional and unfair. I doubt anyone on this forum would disagree.

If someone has a proposal to get the Graves Act changed or overturned, I'm all ears. If we're just going to call names and gripe about politicians, this really doesn't have anywhere to go.
