Fellow Jerseyans, our Bill is in Committee and I urge you all to go to www.njleg.state.nj.us and find your individual Legislators and email them! Once at the site, it is simply a matter of:

Clicking on "Municipality"
Finding your town and clicking that,
Clicking your District Number,
Find your Senator and click their name,
Select your Senator and Assembly reps and Email away!

It may die a quick death but we must, MUST, let the elected know that the electors want CCW in NJ! Good Luck and God Speed to us all!

Tho I grew up in Jersey, I got out as quick as I could and have never been back ... that's just me; this bill IMHO is doomed given the state's record, but it certainly deserves the enthusiastic support of every resident who believes in the right to self-defense from the scum we share the earth with ... Good luck ...

Hmmm..."in committee" means that hospice has arrived and the bill is on deathwatch.

But I would still write to my congressmen earnestly urging him/her to re-examined and reconsider the bill. I dont miss NJ one bit.

Now that the non-NJ peanut gallery has chimed in, maybe some concerned current NJ residents?

Looks like there arent any. Maybe they all moved away by now? This "peanut" did....a long time ago.

You welcome for the free bump.

*sigh*

Sorry for the Peanut comment. I'm sure there's a good reason why this has gotten no response. My fellow residents of New Germany are probably working on their bunkers or hiding in their cellars.

It is a shame really...NJ is more beautiful than most people think and it has lots of great hunting available.

I grew up on the Rancocas Creek and have seen everything from red fox, deer to small black bear (i am even convinced that I saw a coyote once), to canvas back and wood duck. I caught the biggest large mouth bass and pike fish of my life in that river during the chilly month of april...and I have fished many southern states.

But all I have to remember are the gun laws and tax rates in NJ...and poof!...no more missing NJ! NJ could be real sportsman's paradise as it fits quite strategically between Philly, NYC and Baltimore. Lots of hunters live in these cities. Instead, they go to PA.

The potential revenue NJ is losing would really make any politician slobber.

I'm in ! E- mailing my legislators asap. If by some miracle this bill were to pass, I'll be first in line for my permit. My next call would be to LFI for training!

sorry i took so long sarge, getting to it now. i was in shoprite last night with one of my sons and he said something along the lines of...

why is there so much crazy stuff going on with people nowadays? why is it we are always being told what we can and can't do?

i said i'm not too sure whats wrong, i'm just trying to make the best of it, do my part and live a good life. and make sure you, mom and your brothers and sisters are safe and cared for. but ya know what come january we may not be the UNITED STATES anymore, we might become GERMANY 1935. he replied with something that i dare not type.
