Winds in Texas

The Dad gum Winds in West Texas are 40-60 mph and thats bad for the range. Last time we went ,we put up paper targets and got back to the firing line, turned around......NO TARGETS.
Gonna wait it out ,maybe this week! Take care........

Greetings NorthernPass, and welcome aboard.

Don't let the winds get you down.
I've been in competitions where you had to dodge the picnic benches that were blowing across the skeet/trap fields. Needless to say it was a challenge since the targets were flying a "little" erratically. I was thankful that I'd purposefully practiced on windy days. Everyone was a few targets off their average -- those inexperienced with the wind were more than a few targets off of theirs.
