New, Improved Taurus Millennium Frames!

Well folks, you heard it here first. Seems that Taurus has improved their troublesome Millennium frame. It's now stronger to prevent cracks - right? Well, not quite. :mad: It now has the option of "panel inserts". You can dress up your new Millennium Deluxe with wood or 9/11 inspired patriotic ivory or pearl inserts. So the frame may still blow apart after a few hundred rounds, but at least until then it will look good. :barf:

Since I have a lifetime warranty, maybe they'll send me a different set of panels, every time I send my PT-145 back for frame repairs. :rolleyes:

Yeah I just directed a guy who had a "WTB PT145" ad on another board here to check out the threads on them disentegrating, he was very grateful. I like most Taurus pistols I've owned it's a shame these haven't lived up to the rest of the line. But the inserts are a nifty idea wish someone made them for Glocks.
