New importer for Steyr pistols

Although Steyr announced Dynamit Nobel as its new US importer, it is becoming clear that they will not handle Steyr's pistol line. See: http://www.dnrws.com/

However, an email I received this morning from Steyr indicated that DSA Incorporated (dsarms@earthlink.net) may become the US importer for Steyr's pistols.

Well, I just found DSA's web site: http://www.dsarms.com/

I called them a few minutes ago, and they confirmed that they are setting up to import Steyr's pistols, and that they have definite plans to submit them for California testing.

Thanks for the info it is appreciated. As a steyer owner I was a little concerned not knowing if they had a distributor. Now hopefully they will become popular enough to get a better selection of holsters made for them.

Bladetech makes a nice holster for the Steyr, but I'm alittle erked about their lack of response from repeated emails regarding an expensive but crappy ill-fitting mag holder they sent with the holster.

I've been waiting for this. The only reason I haven't bought one is lack of support. If this actually happens I'm first in line.

Do what I did.
After BT's customer service blew me off for a few weeks, I posted all my grievances in a thread on GlockTalk, after it got about three pages of responses and 5-600 views, I emailed a link to the thread to BT's customer service.
Guess what, the VERY next morning, I recieved not one, not two, but three phone calls from BT, including one from the Pres. himself, it seems that airing their dirty laundry in front of several hundred people got their attention.
Note, I only did this as a last resort, after repeated unanswered emails, and repeated unreturned phone calls. Give them a chance to respond, then BLASTEM if they don't.

Hey, just find a custom leather guy and have him whip you up a holster. Most of them will do an open top type for about $60, or the Bianchi Accumold (No. 10, I think) will fit.

Aint Blade tech the guys with the Jesus fish in their add? And charge $65 for a plastic holster? Guess they only have to answer to God, and not to the consumer..........

No. They stopped using that <>< symbol quite a while ago.

Fellow TFLer Mark Waldon makes some real nice holsters. The leather holster he made for my M40 fits beautifuly (now if I could just get a free weekend to do some IDPA, I could tell you how well it works :( )
