Hey guys i've got a New Haven 600AT, handed down by my grandfather. I disassembled it to clean it, and add a new forend, but it will not slide out. Has anybody had this problem. Thanks, GO BIG ORANGE
You probably have a model that has anti rattle rings and spring soldered to the magazine tube. These Mossbergs require that you unscrew the magazine tube to the move the slide action tube. The magazine tube will be difficult to unscrew, the last one I took off, I used a hair dryer to heat up the the frame where it screws in and padded Chanel locks . The later guns do not have this feature and the slide will come off the magazine. Good luck
