Just purchased a 2 1/2 inch Model 19, and a 5 inch model 29. I would like to put some nice wood combat grips on each, and find a good shoulder rig for camping with the 29. Thought you folks might be able to help me out with where to go. Thanks, Gary

Houge for the grips in tropical hardwoods like kingwood, cocobolo, rosewood or gonaco alves. or Houge for rubber for range shooting. nothing fits or feels as good to me without going true custom.
For leather there is a WIDE variety of good leathersmiths. my fancy runs to guys like Kramer and Alessi but Don Hume has great bargins and good products.
Fixing it like you want is half the fun.

Greeting's:

You may wish to take a look at Herrett's Shooting Star grips, and Bianchi and Safariland leather. I believe
either of these product's would serve you well.:D:)
