Uberti has a line of economical models that are blued but not polished beforehand, so it ends up looking like it was parkerized.
This can save the consumer money by not spending as much labor on doing all of the final polishing that other companies typically do.
I really enjoy mine. I got it from Tanners off of gun broker last year for $250. Best $250 I've spent on a pistol. The quality is really nice for the money.
Brazos,
Me too. I bought TWO! I like the matte black finish. I also have two of Uberti's Millenium finish NMA Remingtons. They don't glare in the sun. The finish holds a light oiling nicely.
arcticap mentioned that they were not polished beforehand to save money during production. Does that mean that they can now be polished by me?
Thanks,
OJW
nah, hoping to shoot it this friday. Have a bunch of crap going on this week, but hoping to get out there on friday. Just hoping the weather holds out like they say it should.
