My question to you is, what is your primary duty weapon? Me, I went with the Cougar because it was the closest to my 92 feel wise. It was just a matter of getting new magazines and holster. The transition was very natural because the feel was so similar.
The Beretta 92FS is my primary duty carry right now. I'm just looking for another pistol to use for duty carry in case I need to take the 92 out of service. I was looking at the Cougar last year.......really liked it. However I saw a 1991 A1 somewhere for a pretty good price....thought, hmmmm maybe. Don't know too many LEOs that carry a 1911 or 1991 as a duty weapon though.
