New gun day!

Hahaha Petah! Me too! I don't really know what to look for on revolvers so I'm going to run it over to my gunsmith to check it out for me. I heard some of the barrels on these were canted but it appears straight to me. So I just want to make sure timing and no canting. Fingers crossed. I love it! Still waiting on my Para Pro Custom to come back, and I shipped out the Rossi a few days ago. I'm hoping to get them both back in fine working order here pretty quick. Hoping.

I love 5" long barrels and I've never understood why this length has never been very popular with the shooting public. To my way of thinking, it's the perfect compromise. I suppose others could argue that it's "neither fish nor fowl". Nice looking revolver in any event and the unfluted cylinder looks just right on it.

S&W Model 37 Airweight Serial Inquiry

I am the proud owner of a new looking S&W Model 37 2" Bbl. The serial number is 521J84. Does anyone have a serial number reference? Thanks

Though I could live without the big ".357" at the bottom of the wood stocks, they (otherwise) sure got that wood looking really good, I have to say. Love the color, the shape, the grain and the style.

AAAAAAAAND four cylinders are out of time and the barrel is canted to the left. SIGH. I can't catch a break. See what I mean? I have a UPS label on the way....... Hey, if anybody wants their new gun to come in jacked up just call me. I'll be there and ruin your fun. This now makes three guns out at the manufacturer for repair at the same time.

Think of it as you are doing the gun buying community a service... It seams no matter the manufacturer, or cost of the gun, you get all the duds. That makes it so, percentage-wise, the rest of us are more likely to get good ones!

See, there is a bright side to this :D

Seriuosly though.. man you do have some bad juju going on. Maybe you should find someone who has extreamly good luck and have them buy the gun, then transfer it to you.

I hope things work out for you!
