New gun day :)

So yesterday I was perusing around gander mt. Just looking and happen to stop by the firearm section. (As usual lol). Well low and behold I found a like new smith and Wesson 340pd. The price was was just too good to pass up and she had to come home with me. For 500 I think it was a hell of a deal. Wonder if they really knew what they had.

.38s aren't to bad but kick more than I thought they would. Now 357s are a whole different story and deffinatly let you know when you touch one off.

Just a happy camper over here. Should be a nice edc once I get another 100 rounds through it.

No idea how to post pics from my phone sry.
No real questions or anything just wanted to share. Have a good day y'all

Sigh, I miss new gun day. Hopefully soon I will be able to have another myself.

To stay on topic, good on you. Any new gun day beats a regular day. Unless it is getting to shoot a new gun day.

Enjoy!

Thanks. This is my first revo and I think I'm hooked, it's really nice not having to chase my brass. I know the light weightness of the gun makes it a challenge to shoot but I'm up for, and enjoy the challenge. This will see a lot of carry time and should be a lot easier than my hk to tote around.

Now time to hunt for that prefect holster

Just a sort-of add on thought for that fine looking Smith. You let on to the fact that you plan to do a lot of shooting to get proficient with a wheel gun, and I'm glad for you, but would add a thought about reloading.
With the way ammo is pricing out today, a new pistol needs LOTS of shooting, and the 38/357 is a reloading dream to help with feeding your new toy.
Again I say If It Says Smith & Wesson, You Can't Go Wrong. Enjoy the ride.

Yes I totally agree reloading set up would be prime. Unfortunately I don't have the space or time to set up right now. I have been saving my brass for time that day comes. I think it will really add another level to the hobby.
