I had to make a deal with the wife but now I have a new Saiga .223. I picked it up on the 10th for right at $300 but was just able to test it out tonight. After shooting it I love it. I have heard a lot about the triggers being gritty and not feeling as good because of the additional linkage. However, I find the trigger very nice. The .223 round produces very little recoil and the gun feels really smooth. I really like how compact it is.
I think I am going to get a lot of usage from this gun and a lot of fun modifying it to my liking. I'm still not sure if I will move the trigger forward or not. There are stocks out there that have the pistol grip on the stock that the trigger does not have to be moved forward.
Any suggestions on some good modifications, additions to do? Kinda looking for some ideas.
