New Grip Choices. Help.

It's really up to you....thye are all beautiful....but I found smooth wood to be very slippery for me....I too, don't like rubber as my clothes tend to hang up on them.....I would pick something with a bit of checkering...you never know how much sweat your palms will have when you are ready to pull it...for me, I found the stock smith wood grips and a tyler t-grip to work perfectly.....but I can see you wanting something a bit more stylish....

No one can help you with a fingergroove stock/grip. They either fit your hand and feel great or they don't fit and you cuss them with each shot fired. Everybody's hand is different so you have to have them in your hand to know if they are right for you or not.
Checkering or smooth wood is also a personal preference. I just don't care for checkering. In hard recoiling guns the checkering rips at my skin so I look for smooth wood.
So to be truthful only you can find what works for you unless you have a set made for your hand like a set of Herretts.

Majic +1. Covered the topic nicely. Boils down to personal preference.

Good shooting and be safe.

I prefer to make my own custom grips for some revolvers. My favoured stock grips are Pachmayrs walnut/rubber finger grooved grips. If I need J frame S&W grips, I use a POJ J frame and simply install the wood portion. I then start up my Dremel belt sander and create a grip. You cannot replace wood sanded away so slow and check fit often. When I am satisfied, I refinish the grip with Minwax and add the rubber finger groove portion. The Eagle Secret Service grips are nice too. I prefer a longer grip that supports my pinky. YMMV
