Well My new GP100 KGPF-331 I ordered arrived at the gunshop today . I had to put it on lay-away but can hardly wait to take my new baby Home with me . With it's smaller than regular Gp100 grips & the short took it is a great lookin lil piece . It wasn't planned to be a ccw gun but with it's smaller diminsions I can see it happening . It has the full underlug Bbl & feels very well made . It i'm guessing should shoot all the super hot loads I'm guessing with ever having any problems with it . Can all you Knowledgeable guys & ladies tell me the best load for ccw as well as a walk in the woods defense load ? Will the 38 Nyclads give me lead build up in the cylinders & Bbl of a 357 like other lead loads do when shot from a 357 ? By the way whats the F.P.S. & M.E. out of a 3 " tube anybody know ?

I really like the 145gr Winchester Silvertips for a combination ccw and woods gun. My wifes 3" GP100 is loaded with them, as well as my S&W 640-1.

They are not bad to shoot in either gun, and considering the 5 shot 640-1 is a lot smaller, you'll be fine in your GP100.

I like shooting 158gr Semi-wadcutters in both .38special and .357magnum as practice ammo.

Congrats on the new gun, you're going to be happy with it.
