I just got a new Glock 23 and I love it! What a great gun. Now I need a holster and I was looking at the Braveheart vs. Sidearmor IWB. Anybody tried both? Pros and Cons.

Huntman, I've not tried the Braveheart, but my Sidearmor is a fine rig. Also, you may want to think about getting the AGRIP for that pistol. Excellent product.

The Huntman,
Feel free to let us know if you have questions specific to the Ky-Tac Braveheart. It is the most popular kydex offering we stock. We have a lot of satisfied Braveheart customers on Glocktalk- requesting feedback there may help you out.
HTH!

Huntman, have a Braveheart for a G22. It is the most comfortable, stable, well thought out Kydex holster have used. The draw-speed has to be experienced to be appreciated. There is just no comparison, except perhaps from Mad Dog or Cen-Dex. All three are hand formed & finished to a real pistol not an aluminium slug, etc. Again all three use thin Kydex. Mad Dog's is .090" thick {don't have figures for the other two}. http://www.cen-dex.com http://www.mdenterprise.com/holsters.htm

Huntman,

First, congrats on purchasing one of Glocks finest, the 23 is one hell of an all around gun.

Now, you need to head over to http://www.glocktalk.com and get registered. The people there are some of the best around, the board is busy so you get a bunch of replies in a short period of time.

My 23 rides in a BS-2 from MD Enterprises, the owner Mark is a sponcor at GT and is a great guy to talk with. You can get one of his holsters at http://www.custonholsters.com, he specialises in concealment holsters and the BS-2 I got from him hides my 23 away very well, nice and high and tight to the body.

Go check him out and I will see you around GT!

Jason
