got a letter from glock today inviting me to purchase 2 and only 2 glock 36 single stack 45acp.glock dabued these at the shot show in jan 1999.they told us that they would be delivering in may of 1999.here it is apr 2000 and they are inviting us to only order 2 when hundreds of people a week are calling wanting one.sheessse.when will this type of marketing ever end.?i can just imagine the kinda bidding on the internet that is going to go on if every stocking dealer in the country is limited to only 2 guns.

gunmart, get it while you can. There are shooters out there with no patience or brains. Price the gun at $100 over retail because you sure won't be able to get that in a year. I remember when the SIG P229 came out, they were selling for $729, within a year they had dropped $200. The Glock 26/27 was the same way, $579 for starter and quickly dropped to $479, I waited 18 months and got it for $399. If they must be the first kid on the block, somebody will surely pay for it. Supply and demand economics. The smart ones will wait until supply meets demands and they will sell for around $500.
