I'd like to hear from OWNERS of the new generation (retail $389) Magnum Research Baby Eagle in 9mm.

I'm only gonna use it for range plinking and want the full size in 9mm (Glock for carry, what else?). I'd like to know how smooth the trigger is, accuracy and anything else you'd care to share !

Since there might be a big difference between the old gen and the new ones, I only want to hear about the new ones.. THANKS ! :)

Lose that nickel plated sissy pistol, get yourself a GLOCK !

it is very accurate with better sights it could be a real tack driver.groups about 2.5 at 25 yards with most of the spread being up and down.the single action trigger is great double not to bad.the best 9mm load i have run into is 115 jhp unique 5.6 grains its a serria accuracy load

Wow! I think we have a new record for the longest time before the first response to a new thread.

Moving to the Semiauto forum.

Wow is right!

I had to do a triple take when I looked at the original date. Two years!

Hey kidcoltoutlaw...how did you manage to dig that thread up?

Still in awe,

Kel

i did a search for baby eagle.i love mine.im thinking about getting one in 45 acp i have a springfield mil spec but it groups like a shotgun.i hope the baby eagle in 45 acp is a better gun

I'm kinda curious about the Baby Eagle myself.
I have heard that it is kind of a cross between a High Power and a CZ 75.
If that is correct it sounds like pretty good parents to me.
Anybody know anything about the .45 version?
