Forum down

I have been offline for the most part since Tuesday. I found everything gone this morning. Back ups are not up to date due to no internet access.. I am trying to restore the forum to the last successful back up which was Monday. Smokey

Good to hear from you Smokey ... I thought something like that is what happened ... will this bring back up my SG's Old Coots Forum too, or is that a seperate back up?
Let me know hat's up on the BPR, Voy forum, or email me at Smokin_Gun@att.net
Hope it works out, good luck Smokey...

All was lost. Preventive measures have been taken to prevent data loss and site hacking in the future.

I'm with you, Hoss, Blackpowdertimes is real shooters and real builders, and its full of tutorials and how to's that ya wont find anywhere else. There is a new report on the Santa Fe Trail Rondy at the NRA Whittington Center at Raton, New Mexico, and lots of pictures from those who WERE THERE.

Some of the regulars are Mongrel, who builds small scale rifles for kids, and he has numerous tutorials on the process.......also check out Colin Stoltzer, a full time gunsmith and his from-scratch builds of everything from 2 bore elephant guns down to his latest Wesson Box Lock. Top Shelf quality work and how to's from numerous notable builders.

Little Turtle is working on four small scale rifles, and will be posting soon a complete rebuild of a Stevens 44. Good stuff ya wont find anywhere else, and good folks that will help walk you through your problems, with good, safe advise from those who do build.
