just got home from picking up my new taurus 85 2" stainless/hammerless/not magnaported
took it to the range first.
since i don't have a holster for it yet,
i was drawing from the pocket
i tried it out at 7 yds on a sillouette target. DAO takes some getting used to but after 50 rounds i was keeping them all in the 5 area. grips felt nice and positive recoil negligable (cheap factory loads) stainless cleaned up very nice.
no snags coming out of the pocket.
now i need to get a pocket holster to keep the lint out and prevent printing. and a speed loader...or two.

not bad on my budget.

Congrats, Taurus's are looking very nice right now, better then Smiths. And as for that Jennings: paperweight, fishingweight, the magwell can be used to hold pens and pencils, toothbrush holder, workbench leveler, doorjam, Hey, be creative.
 
you are not gonna belive this, i acctually sold the jennings, a guy at my local shop bought it (in full knowledge of my opinion)
he is going to use it as a tacklebox gun????
