New CZ75BD.......WOW

I really hate to sound like a broken record ....but I just bought a new CZ75BD and man was I impressed !!
I can easily say for me this is the most accurate semi auto I have ever shot !!!
I put 200 rounds thru it today and it works very well for me I had cans and bottles and various other plinking targets jumping around like crazy !!!
I also recently purchased a Springfield Milspec 1911A1 and I can't hit anything with it...... I was beginning to think it was me

This CZ has renewed my faith in myself..I guarantee I will be buying another CZ...probably this coming week
 
I was as impressed with mine after the first range session. It was the first pistol I've EVER bought that didn't require me to touch the sights at all.
 
A couple of years ago, I bought a Turkish Mil Surplus CZ-75b. The importer replaced the original factory sights with night sites. It cost $300 plus shipping and FFL.

The POI was about 4" high at 15m and the rear sight kept drifting so the windage was always changing. I was very disappointed. Once I got the rear sight locked in place with some Black Magic and adjusted my POA, I found that this pistol was the most consistent one I owned, the easiest to aim and shoot, and shot to the same POI with just about any type of ammo.

It's now in the shop for some MMC adjustable sights to correct the POI/POA problem, and I'd say I can't wait to czech it out, but last week I bought a used satin nickel CZ-85 combat, which already has the adjustable sights. Man, this gun is sweet and feels just like the 75B right down to its great SA/DA trigger.

These CZs are pretty impressive and would be bargains at another $100 to $150 in cost.
 
Although CZ's are well known on this board, it surprises me that the shooting public in general doesn't know about this great gun.

I have to agree as to how great these guns are. I picked up a 75b and have never shot so good. I also picked up the 22rf KADET conversion kit that replaces the slide and found it to be every bit as good as it's big brother,only cheaper to shoot.If you are looking for cheap plinking pick up the KADET kit.:)
 
Great design and combat proven. These are the secret bargin of the shooting world. I also can't wait for the CZ85 to come out since I'm a lefty shooter.
