The governor signed the bill this morning that greatly expands concealed carry in Arkansas. This includes carry on college campuses. Problem is the law goes into effect Sept. 1 and requires an eight hour training program beyond what it required for the carry permit in the first place that is currently unavailable. The Arkansas State Police must do the training but there is no such program at this time. I contacted the ASP and they have no idea on a timeline, location, cost or anything else.
