Just sold my RIA FS 1911 9mili and bought this beautiful Cannick 55 in a sand colored frame so far aft one range trip trigger is very nice maybe 4-5 llb in single action and 7llb in double act. Fed exellent out of 200 rds mixed tula brass and steel It had one fte with a steel rd. Cheap ammo or maybe needs more break in I dont know I stiil get 99.5% reliability out of the box, thats just fine with me considering this ammo does the same with my G17,G41 TAURUS PT 709 AND RIA 1911 9mm so ill have to side with a bad round. For 399 Academy parts with these easily with good reason I beleive they come with all the right features imo single/double act 19 plus 1 capacity 3 dot raised sights cerakote finish 2 mags rail clean kit

and carry case. If what ive read is correct these are simply CZ
clones and good ones at that 1 of about 3 or 4 clones. My only

hiccup was i was hittin 2-3 inches left of center a quick
adjustment of the rear sight fixed that real quik, since the front
sight is fixed. So far so good anyone else familiar with this platform(s) ????

Love the shark

I have a Shark C in hard chrome. It is easy to shoot, accurate and reliable. Makes me smile every time I shoot it. Great value!

Glad to hear your good experience with the Cannick 55. I am seriously thinking of getting the P120 TriStar. The Cannick 55 clone of the CZ SP01. Might be able to get the budget balanced, and my fun fund replenished enough for it to be my September choice for the Gun of the Month Club.:D

Have had a 55 in hard chrome since they first arrived a couple years ago. Runs without any problems at all and appears to along fine with my 8 CZs.

Which magazines fit it?

Which magazines fit it? I have one, Century wants $40 for a spare mag.

I've been pleased with mine the few times I've shot it. Thinking about getting a different Canik now.

TIA, Tony:eek:

my Tri-Star t-100 is the cheapest gun I own, and also by far my favorite. ive said it a million times, I know, but I have NEVER had any misfire, misfeed.....anything in 2-3000 rounds. and they are all my handloads, simply amazing so far. very accurate, better single-action trigger than the real thing, although a looser side-side motion. the tolerances are not quite as tight as the CZ's, but its a helluva reliable and accurate gun

T-120. Flawless. Eats the cheapest steel case to the hottest Buffalo Bore. No fails for a year now. More accurate than I need and fun to shoot. Love the inside the frame slide for holding the gun on top. Can't wait till the P-120 comes out in .40 S&W next year. I will have one!

Can't get them in my Draconian state

Seriously thinking about doing the Single Shot Exemption thing though. The whole CZ platform has me seriously itching for a 9MM.

Caniks are great values.

For easy to do trigger jobs, check out Cajun Gun Works.

I put their kit on a Canik SS120 and LOVE IT!

Made my trigger butter smooth, and with a very nice, crisp break.

no tunnel, no de-cockers on caniks, but if you poke around on the cz forum, you could find out it the cz decocker will fit.

Ah shoot. Many people seem to be happy with them and that's great. I do find their product line a bit confusing. They seem to have a lot of pistols that are very similar with only slight variations from each other. More options never hurt though.

they are honestly all the same except for size. and that some have a steel frame and others have the al alloy frame. also , one has a ported barrel and slide. but your right, they are all pretty much the same gun. the SAR series is very similar to these just in a polymer frame, brother has the sar b6 and it is also a fine clone, just really light, but has a nice grip

I'd buy one if I didn't already have a CZ clone :P . If I ever decide to buy a 9mm though I may pick one up, hard to beat for the price.

I have a desert tan TP-9 and although I've only put a couple hundred rounds through it so far, it has been flawless. The price is definitely right, and reviews I've read both before and after buying mine seem to be more positive than not.
