Hello all!
This is my first post. Today I took delivery of new Blackhawk Bisley 45LC in blue with a 7.5 inch barrel! I can't stop looking at it, fits nice too. I won't be able to take to the range till next week. Anybody else have one? How does it shoot, and what's your favorite ammo for it?

Does a Single Six Bisley count? ;)

If it does, I love mine.

That said, there's a minor question I wanna append to your thread:

Is it "buyslee" or is it "bizlee?"

I have one in 44 mag. Only shot the gun one time. She is a good shooter! I really like the grip! Well gota show a pic:)

The blueing on the gun is so dark it looks black. and I like the white grips as well

It Is Correctly Pronounced,

BISS-lee.
I have them in every caliber but 32 H&R MAG. In every caliber and every barrel length all of them shoot up a storm. My 357MAG Bisley is one of the highest velocity 357's I have ever chronographed. The 41MAG, the 44MAG, the two 45COLTS all will shoot into and inch at 25 yards with selected loads.
The Bisley 22 will group around around .70" at 25 yards and the SS Bisley 22 will do around an inch at 25 yards.
It has always seemed to me that Ruger payed a bit more attention to building and fitting the Bisley series of sixguns.

A guy at a local shop pronounces it bEEZ-lee.
Drives me up the wall.

I have a couple of them, and prefer the acusport models.

Congrats on the new gun!!! You got a nice one.

I've got this Bisley Vaquero my wife bought me for Christmas several years ago.

I liked the grip so much, I swapped out the frame on my Blackhawk Convertable. I guess it's a Bis-hawk now...

Fun guns!!

I've got one of the Stainless .45 colt 5.5" barreled Bisleys from several years ago. It is one of my favorite guns to load for and shoot. Get some great leather for it--it'll complete the package.

Those are all nice lookin Bisley's! I've been checking out ammo for mine, and I see Corbon and Buffalobigbore make some heavy hitters in 45LC. I had to look twice at the specs, this will be fun!
