Are you going to get it? What are your impressions? I'm thinking if it's really "much lower than 2k" as they say, i'll pick it up.

Not that I'll probably every use it in this fashion, but being so light, if you ever had to "whack" someone with the rifle, would it break or not really be effective do to the lack of weight?

Takes an AR mag, not interested. It seems like the AR mag is, for a lack of a better description, the herpes of the gun world. Everyone admits that it causes problems even under the best conditions, yet almost every new gun has it because nobody wants to make the effort to get rid of it. (Yes I realize it is because militaries around the world blow hundreds of billions on fancy weapons systems that don't work, but can't be bothered to spend a few tens or hundreds of millions on a new magazine system. It's just something that irritates me.)

As for the closing of the bolt on the insertion of a new magazine, I can see that causing all sorts of misfeeds if it's not 100% and the bolt drops before the mag is in all the way. Is that feature on the Italian military guns? How well did it perform in tests?

How well does that barrel arrangement hold zero? Good enough for a combat rifle?

Kind of like the FN SCAR - all sort of neat stuff - probably cost too much for my wallet, then again I'm a cheap son of a gun.
