Well, I just bought a new Beretta, 8045 with the CAT package. I got it for less than I've seen the pistol alone in other places. This is a really fine weapon. Shoots great. I put 150 rounds of FMJ, 20 rounds of Federal Personal Defense Ammo, and 20 rounds of regular hydr shoks. Very accurate, and with out a hickup. So far I really pleased with this weapon. I'm using it for my carry weapon for now.

Anyone else had experiences with this weapon? Cheers :D

Yes I do! and I love em. They are great guns in my opinion. I have the Cat Pak and an 8040. The 8040 is my shooter. The Cat Pak I bought as a collector. Don't know if I'll shoot that one.
I plan on getting the 9mm and maybe the compacts. I believe you made a good purchase and will enjoy it.

Good Luck and Happy Shooting :)

The great body of our citizens shoot less as time goes on. We should encourage rifle practice among schoolboys, and indeed among all classes, as well as in the military services by every means in our power. The Cat Pak was put out by Beretta to commemorate their entrance into .45s
The Cougar 8045 was their first.
So there were only 2000 Cat Paks issued and it includes the 8045 with black carbonite grips with the Cougar logo,An aluminun lockable case with the logo and a logo lapel pin.
It really is a nice gun and you can just purchase a standard 8045 and I might mention they are made in and imported from Italy.

Happy Shooting :)
