New Beretta .22 Photos/Specs

Greetings - rumor has it that Beretta has a new .22 in the works & that it's shown/mentioned in the most recent issue of Shooting Times. Being in Germany - I probably won't see that issue of ST for at least a coupla weeks. Does anyone have any info about this? Thanks in advance ...
 
I just got my shooting times, and I've already informed the wife that I will buy one as soon as they are available (I'm allowed to put my foot down 3 times a year). Supposedly they will be made to compete with the ruger/s&w/browning line of plinker pistols, but they are modular systems with interchangable barrels and grips. Barrels have built in scope rails. This is the first gun to come out in a while that I really want.
 
If you mean the 87 Target; yep, I just bought one (my first gun). Havent got to the range to try it out yet, but damn its hot! Put my Walther red-dot scope on it and it looks soooo nice - it was totally meant to be... ;)

It also has a rail mounted on the counter-weight part of the frame for mounting a laser sight. If you want more piccies/details, you can download the manual from http://www.beretta.com/PDF/87Target.pdf

No, not the Target. He's referring to something called the Neo(?), IIRC. I only briefly perused the magazine article this past weekend. In a word, :barf: :confused:
 
I think you mean the 'neos U22'. I've seen a very small picture of it somewhere on the web. Can't find it anymore, sorry.
 
i got that issue of shooting times yesterday but didn't read the article yet. they look pretty interesting; i've seen it said that the price will be competative with the Ruker MKII and Browning Buckmark.
 
Yes, piccy please. I've always wanted a .22 plinker pistol to call my own, but until recently I haven't had the time nor the funding. And I'm aself-professed Beretta nut.

Man i hope Beretta has done their homework on this sweet looking .22! I positively don't need another .22 but will no doubt wind up with one if the price is right.
