Kerry said today that Bush sold out to special interest groups when he "did not fight to have the aw ban renewed" and tgat he will have it reenacted as soon as he is relected.

Why in Hell would this or anything else that idiot Kerry says surprise anyone especially when it comes to guns or the 2nd Amendment?

I'm sure kerry would push for more control.

However, no he's so far behind he's trying to sure up his base and is promising them anything he can just to keep from getting embarrassed in the election.

I'd be watching for states trying to enact their own bans to replace the Fed AWB. This only because the anti's on the Mi. legislature are trying to get a Ca style ban here, which would ban even Mini-14's (the wording is something like, "any gun which has a barrel shroud which completely encircles the barrel and prevents the hand from being burned")!

Edited to add: Looks like this one will never seee the light of day, but they are trying.

Just keep making sure that in a few months, we aren't complaining that Kerry sold out to special interest groups to get a new AWB enacted.

..Mr. Kerry and his comrades are digging in the bottom of the barrel and don't know the bottom is not there anymore.. .... :(

:D

point:

by the time november rolls around, there will be enough weapons/clips in the stores and will have been bought... that it won't do him any good. Hell if for some reason he does get elected, i'm going to get a second morgage (sp?) so i can buy up everything i can get my hands on. Then when he puts the ban back in place, i can jack up the price and sell everything for profit..
