Just got a new Pietta 1858 .44 caliber Remington. Cabela's had it on sale for $189 plus an additional $20 off!! I couldn't pass it by.

I didn't see the 1858s on sale I ordered an 1860 a few days ago. Oh, well. I still have my stainless 1858 that my brother helped me buy as my first gun in 1978, and I've always been curious how the 1860s are put together anyway. It's all fun.
I have been watching Gun Broker, and people are trying to sell those used for $220 + shipping.Just got a new Pietta 1858 .44 caliber Remington. Cabela's had it on sale for $189 plus an additional $20 off!! I couldn't pass it by.
I have seen a few deals on Gun Broker, but it is funny to watch people set a reserve on a slightly used pistol, that is higher than what you could by the same pistol for new. The guys who do that, tend to have to list the same one over and over again, until they find a sucker. It's kind of fun to watch.Forget Gunbroker, Cabela's has the best deal on BP revolvers right now.
