I'm curious if the new marine magnum has some of the same features as the Police model...like a machined extractor, aluminum trigger guard, etc. The reason I'm asking is that it seems like they are putting the Police fore end and stock on the gun. Anyway, does anyone know? Dfariswheel?

Unless they've changed recently, the Magnum Marine is an Express gun with the plastic trigger guard and the MIM extractor.
Their 2007 catalog specifically states that the Magnum Marine has a "corrosion resistant" trigger assembly which is code for polymer.
I notice that the new black MM has a police-length fore end, but it's NOT the old Police synthetic fore end they used to use. Looks like they've changed that too.
Bottom line is, the Magnum Marine is an Express gun, NOT a Police gun.
