Please come post your very best letters to Congress or to the Editor on my new 2nd Amendment Activist's "Letter" Copy & Paste Forum so that we all can use them, or parts of them! If you are looking for some text to help you write a letter, come check it out as well.

Thanks! I think it is a good idea too, if I say so myself. ;) There is no need to register just to make or read posts. The forum will soon have the ability to edit posts and will even have a spell checker.

Done! I posted a few of my letters to the editor, some of which were printed, and some that weren't, but I thought they were worthwile anyway. ;)

You posted some very well written letters indeed. The pre-written letters at the GOA site are fine, but how many people use them? Too many! We as activists, lose credibility if we all send the same canned letter to our reps. That is why I made this new forum, besides the GOA auto-maileronly only has a limited number of topics, some of which are out of date.

Come on guys and gals, please help me out with this new project!

Thanks for the site you have started. I will post some of mine, and by the way I just copied one that was there concerning the 3-day waiting period and it was tailored for my congressperson and sent!

Elker,

I saw the letter that you posted on the new forum. It is a good one. You mentioned that you had previously written your Rep. about more than one topic. According to the NRA, we should keep our letters focused on one topic at a time. Quick and to the point, that's it. I just thought that I would pass that on. :)

To all of the great people who have posted letters on the new forum, I say thanks. To all of those that tried to get on my forum this morning and couldn't, I apologize! It seems the server was down for a number of hours and nobody could access it.
