Well I keep on depleting the account. I went into my gun shop and found a 27-2 3 1/2 nickel for $350.00. It about 98% but dirty. The finisk looks great. Anyway I'm going to have to put some grips on it. I need reccomendations. What would be the smallest N frame squares available? Also, I know folks seem to like the 3 1/2 but are they actually rarer than the other lengths?

I think that I'm in the minority because I am happy with factory stocks on most of my DA revolvers. I only have one with aftermarkets. The factory magnas will be the most compact. Well, I guess the pre-war service grips like the ones on the 1917 are actually smaller but most people don't use these other than to be correct on collector guns.

A nickel 3.5" 27 with magnas will look something like this:

BTW, you got a great price on that 27.

Thanks for the replies. The magnas look great. It currently has some abomination after market wood grips for sasquatch on it.
