When I bought my P228 a couple of years ago it came with two ten-rounders. One took ten rounds easily, the other took three strong men and a drill press to get that tenth round in there (disclaimer: nobody, and I do mean NOBODY should actually try that ). I bought one of those mag loader devices (cheap plastic), which helped tremendously. After about 6 months of steady use, the magazine loosened up enough that I could load ten without mechanical assistance, as it were.
Annoying, but they both fed flawlessly, so no worries.
Jim V,
The quote was translated, but I challenge you to prove my quote bogus. I pulled it from a history book I used in college. I'm not saying your wrong, I'm just saying prove it. False things do get printed.
You got my attention with what you said. Not remembering exactly where I had gotten that quote from I began to do a little research. I emailed my professor from college and asked him if he could help. He reponded and then passed me on to another professor who was a little knowledgable of the subject.
JimV you are right and I stand corrected. Thank you for not believing everything you read and contributing to my knowledge base.
