Hello:
I am planning to go on a pheasant hunt and want a new shotgun (sick of my 1300 pump). I am looking at the M2 field and Vinci. What is the difference b/t the two? How do they compare? I understand they are right around the same price. I will be using the gun to hunt and shoot clay birds. Please advise.

Hey bro,

M2 Field at my local Dick's is $899.. Vinci is like $1400-$1700 i think.

M2 is 2 3/4" and 3", Vinci is also same I believe.

both use the Inertia system (which they claim that the Vinci is super soft but in my experience , that system delivers more feedback AKA felt recoil than gas system. But more reliable/cleaner. BUT you need to have it properly shoulder mounted to cycle right, not like you can "limpshoulder" it.

Vinci has several different "wierd" configs and barrels 24" 26" 28" , M2 Field 21" 24" 26" 28" (and of course M2 Tac with 18.5" which I came CLOOOSE to buying I LOVED it but I wound up with a Mossberg 930 SPX, am probably just as happy/actually happier) ...

Vinci i Believe is like the "newest neatest" for their field guns but, the M2 is having awesome reviews so, is it THAT much better for THAT much more money? I don't think so. I wanted the M2 Tac and it was $1250 and the Field was $900, I took a look at it.
