Netscape Communicator problem help needed

Need help with a minor but nagging program with Netscape communicator. For some reason I can no longer "Reply" to mail messages by left clicking "Reply". I now need to drop down to the bottom toolbar and right click then maximize. Before it was automatic. I've searched Netscape until I'm green and don't want to pay them $29. to just talk to someone. I've scanned, defragged and played with everything I know about without success. My local cable modem company is clueless too. Any help out there?

What version are you running? I think the current version is 4.72. It might be just easier to download the latest version and install it.

bruels, thanks for the response. I tried that, in fact, even ordered the CD and manual thinking that would help. No change. This problem also involves "New msg" etc. there must be something simple I'm overlooking but I'm truly stumped.
