NEF Pardner Pump...Looking for opinions...

A buddy of mine brought over a new NEF Pardner Pump 12 guage shotgun he recently purchased. He wanted my opinion on it...whether I thought it was a good gun or not. I honestly had no knowledge of this gun's workings and quality. It looks very, very similar to my two 870s and weighs about the same. I saw that it was manufactured in China.

Does anybody out there have a strong and validated opinion on these guns?? I know it is ChiCom made...but that aside is the gun reliable, functional, dependable, etc.?? Does it appear to be durable? What are its major weaknesses? What are its strong points?

Here is the website for this gun if anyone wants to look at it:

Thanks

Yes, it is a fairly close clone of the 870 except for some things.

The standard suggestion is to just go buy a used American shotgun at a pawn shop. Probably will be cheaper too.

They are fit and assembled in the US. So the fit is about what you see in other NEF guns (fairly good at the very least). The gun is just a shotgun and if you are using it for hunting I would think its a good idea as you won't care as much if something happens to it.

Over all I find that it is an OK hunting gun. Its not something that you are going to be really proud to own(like a rare or brand name), but it will go bang when you pull the trigger.
