i've got one, had it for half a year or so. Not a bad gun, really bad trigger though, it is a pull and guess when it will go off. It seems to be nickle size accurate at 50 yards, if you could do something with the trigger, perhaps even better. I like mine in the Survivor stock, available from choate. It is not light, especially for a 22. I much prefer my marlin bolt in both accuracy and trigger, but in favor of the nef in the 12 or so thousand rounds i've fired it has never jammed, and it still looks new except for some blueing wear. IF you want a .22 you cannot wear out, then go for it. If you want to punch the smallest groups possable, then i'de pass. I'm sure the gun is match grade accurate, but the trigger is still rough and heavy after so many rounds. My favorite 22 is the marlin 25N. It has about three times as many rounds through it as the NEF, it has never jammed, and also inspired my most recient post on long range rimfires, as it is pop can accurate at 200 yards.
