Can anyone point me in the right direction? I would like to look at some grips both wood and rubber. I intend to carry concealed, and would love to here back from you guys. Thanks.

The rubber grip most used on the small Colt's is the Pachmayr Compac.

These are also available as used by the factory with Gold Colt medallions.

For wood, it doesn't get any better than Hogue.

You might want to try the Hogue Auction sit: www.hogueauction.com

I've bought grips for my two Paras and a few others and always been satisfied.

I've also bought grips from "the judge" on the Smith forum. He had some Mustang grips but I got his last pair for my Magnum Carry. Try this e-mail:

He has/had other brands. A buddy bought a set and I've bought three pair. Service was fast,

ionz45, . . . many moons ago, I aquired this little rascal at an unbelelievable price, even then. I don't have huge hands, but those little factory grips were not anywhere enough for me.

I added a set of Herretts "RD" wood stocks and a trigger shoe. My wife shoots it with her small, even for a woman, hands, . . . I shoot it also and it fits us both. Though the grips look large, they aren't any thicker than the cylinder, . . . fill my hand up well, . . . and it is a dream to shoot.

It is my wife's gun though basically, . . . my ccw piece is a 1911.

May God bless,
Dwight
