Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle. Thanks to everyone who replied and emailed me...I tried *everywhere* with no luck...everywhere but one place, that is....Dillon.

Everytime one of you guys said "Dillon" I figured you had to be talking about some wholesale house, not Dillon Precision. I finally swallowed my pride and emailed fal308 with plea for clarification. His reaponse was something like "We said "Dillon", idiot. We meant Dillon!"

Called them this AM and guess what they had on the shelf, shining like a black jewel? One McMillan Featherweight stock for a Winchester Short action. We'll have it by Tuesday.
