Need Taurus Grips

My brother just bought a new Taurus .44 mag revolver.

He wants to put wood grips on it, but we couldn't find any in any of the books or on the internet.

Does anyone have a source of grips for this that you would like to share?

My biggest gripe with Taurus is their grips/frame sizes. I've been looking for a set of grips for my old 608 for a year now and can't find what I need. Mine has an Alpha prefix serial number...most of the grips that fit this gun say they won't work with an Alpha number... I find grips that fit an Alpha prefix and the frame size is different than mine....I find the correct frame and Alpha prefix and it's for the wrong butt shape...more aggravating than it's worth.

Okay my rant is off for now. Check Ebay for Taurus grips. There were a bunch listed this morning. Good luck- maybe he can get lucky with his quest.
 
Hogue makes wood grips for the Taurus large frame. These are not cheap, but are very high quality and can be had in a variety of great looking types of wood. I believe Midway carries the full line...

I have this just laying around the house. They came off of a Taurus 431 square butt .44 spl. and are factory stock. I don't have the gun anymore and don't need them, so let me know if these are what you're looking for.
