Need suggestions for Ruger MKIII sights

I have a Ruger MKIII target. The iron sights are hard for me to use at the indoor range where I shoot. Any suggestions?

I like Williams Fire Sights. If there is any light at all, they pop right out at you. Every gun I have that they will fit has the adjustable ones on them.

I too like the Williams

I like Williams Fire Sights.
I have noticed that these sights are standard for many of the Rugers. Not saying that others aren't used as well but these seem to be more common. Also, you can buy these as an after-market option. I like them as well.

Be Safe !!!

The gun did come with a rail but I'm not sure if it's the right kind of rail. I know virtually nothing about optics.

Be careful, Ruger has changed the base on their target model rear sight. The firesights may be too short for the rear sight. The front sight is unaffected. The Ruger sight with the logo on the top is probably .050 longer than the other version. Ruger does not mention this, but man did it drive me nuts. Comparing parts side by side confirms this.

Just be sure which sight you have on the gun, and get the correct firesight.

Good luck

Williams Fire Sights are excellent sights. I have not equipped any of my Mark IIIs that way, but on my GP100 I really like the Williams sights.

On my several Mark IIIs I went with the square Ruger rear sight and the Hi Viz front sight. That works really well for me.
